Bhoots!!!!! do they exist

I was watching the Great Indian Laughter challenge today. It was followed by Shhhh...koi hai..the horror show. Quite contrasting shows back to back I must say, in one hour you die of laughter and in another you die of horror. Its a different thing that you cry through the laughter show because you have these horrifying looking men trying to make you laugh and you laugh through the horror show becoz these creatures they show on the horror show as bhoots are just so funny.

Any ways the horror show made me think - Do ghosts really exist? I dont think that we who are such nice people ( well atleast some of us are) turn into these horrible looking things after death. But I do believe in ghosts or spirits or aatma or watever people would like to call, do exist as a separate entity like humans, gods, animals, plants etc. The reason for this belief? Well as humans we have a mind of our own. We go through so many emotions, the love that we feel, the hatred that we have, the friendship that we cherish, the anxiety that we go through so many things. Where do all these emotions these feelings go after our bodies become redundant. Are we just the body? Then what are these emotions and where do they come from. Will not I feel the love if I have only one hand or one leg. Or dont people with no eyes or legs feel emotions. If they do with their partial bodies i m sure we can feel these emotions if we have no body at all. I think that this life that we FEEL exists in this universe even after we die in some form or the other and may be this very form is called spirit or bhoot.
